Past experience has taught us that if you have your content organized and categorized before the site build starts, the process is smoother and results in less errors post-launch. The content gathering and organizing portion of the process will seem arduous, but it is well worth it.

The following are required to set up a new host:

  • URL for host along with any alias urls that will used
  • List of those who will need permission to edit this host
  • Facility name, address, and phone number
  • Facility blurb to be used on the host record and on the building and facility content
  • HPS Entity Link (for hosts using bill pay)- this will also be used on multiple content structures
  • COID
  • Market ID (if this is part of a market)
  • ID for Exact Target (if using the eNewsletter widget)
  • Call Center phone number (if applicable)
  • Folder Structure for Web Page Content and Service Content
  • Service Content populated with service categories
  • Locations populated with service categories
    • Building content will need to have categories that relate them to a service
    • Each piece of Facility Content will need a matching piece of Building content. They will be related via the relationships tab as well as share a facility tag. (ex. Facility Name = facility-name)
  • Approved Entity Branding
